This is a CamRA pub with a good range of ale, lager and cider all on tap. There's plenty of space to sit inside on both the bar and restaurant. They also do food and there is a sizable fire for the winter months as well as an outdoor area to the back for warmer evenings.

Great find. Great atmosphere. Good quality food. Got to be honest, the estrella on draught was a bit ropey and the pub was not clean. That being said it is a great find. Just improve your basic standards and you will have a fantastically amazing pub.

We stayed at the camp site run by the Cotton Arms. Electricity was available, and the pitches were large. The toilets and showers were basic, but clean. While we were there, the Cotton Arms served breakfast and then went onto its all-day menu. We ate the evening meal on the first night, and lunch on the second day. The menu appears simple, but in fact it was a real gem with some delicious items to eat. Price wise the menu was also good value. Worth booking as can be very busy in the evening. The pub is also good for beer with quite a few hand pulled beers, and a strong cloudy cider along with various lagers. All the staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to organise a taxi for us to attend a wedding. There are also nice walks along the canal path to help build your appetite.

Stayed on the caravan park. Hall is a fire waiting to happen with the electric extension leads. Didn't go in pub. Free toilets, showers 1. Always clean but not very warm with a small wooden door in showers. Disabled facilities available which is great.

Traditional style pub with three rooms. The main two lounge rooms specialise in the provision of food. This proves so popular that the rooms can often be full with diners. Six or maybe seven cask ales complement the food however. To the left is the separate, large vault with pool table. Recommended.
