Paid nearly 3000 for a van after the first week ESP warning light came on garage sorted this due to being within warranty window. After a couple of weeks of receiving van back the power totally went and a number of warning lights come on. Ended up with a 1400 bill and now the engine has let me down again and expecting another substantial bill. I would avoid this place unless you are familiar with vans and know what you are looking for so you dont get ripped off
Bought a 2k van , had it for 3 month , working fine. Good service, had minor issue with van , their mechanic sorted , my mechanic confirmed the van was in top condition and well looked after. Staff were helpful and responded promptly to my queries.
We have purchased a couple of cars from Mike over the last 3 years and happy to recommend him. It's very difficult to find someone you can be confident in when buying a used car, so knowing they are easily contactable even at weekends, makes us happy to continue to purchase our cars from Yellowstone in the future. Our most recent purchase a Mercedes A class has been excellent and was great value.
Bought a car last august and also bought a years warranty for 250. within 6 months it had to be mot'd and all of the brakes and discs had to be replaced??? I had the MOT done at the attached garage and I complained that I cannot understand why all of the brakes had to be done so soon after purchase. They immediately told me that they were two separate businesses and the complaint was nothing to do with them???? Warning signs there then. It gets worse - the car has now developed a gearbox fault so under the terms of the guarantee I took it to the sales side and was told to contact the warranty company to find out how to claim??? They sold this warranty to me and don't know the procedure for claiming?? ? So I rang the warranty company and they told me to take it to a vat registered repairer, tell them to check it and contact the warranty company with the outcome so I went back to Yellowstone garage repair side and guess what they don't do warranty repairs???? So my advice is don't buy from the sales side and don't buy the warranty unless you are absolutely sure about the car. Neither side of the business is interested once you have paid the money.
