  I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at Smile Design. I walked in on a whim last month when I saw the 30 introductory offer for a check up. I knew that my teeth needed some work and I hadn't been to the dentist in too long, I was a bit nervous to be honest! Jen, Lydia, and Philip the dentist were absolutely amazing, they drew up a plan for the necessary work (three fillings and two onlays) that fit perfectly into the short timeframe that I had available to do it. The price was very reasonable for what needed doing, in fact cheaper than some other dentists in the local area. Philip explained every step throughout and even though no one enjoys a trip to the dentist, he and Lydia made it as pleasant as possible and I even had a few chuckles sat in the chair facing a drill bit!I'm totally chuffed with the whole experience and I no longer need to feel self conscious or cover my mouth when laughing. Thanks guys!

  I did not have a very good experience with this practice sadly.The treatment plan took a lot longer than I was originally told, this was.due to cancelled appointments by them, losing impressions and having to have them done again and waiting as long as 4 weeks between appointments unnecessarily. Dr Philip Hewitt has poor communication skills and during my appointment I was not told what to expect before he started treatment nor did he reassure or check to see if I was ok during long intensive drilling.I found the the practice unprofessional and I will not be going there again. On a positive note, I am happy with my new teeth!
