More than expected. Amazing collection of Nuclear weapon equipment from beginning of nuclear age through cold war era from around the world. Bigger site than it looks. Cafe and free parking. Bit expensive entry (near 10 per adult).. but worth a visit.
Once you've been in a few rooms you start to realise they all look very similar. I found it quite boring with twenty odd rooms to go.Pricy for what it is too.
A surprise really. Good to know that some people were ready to help survivors of a nuclear strike in the Midlands. There are many interesting things but I think the cat is the most interesting for kids. Some issues with screening the BBC film. Toilets a bit basic.
Very interesting museum that has lots of war memorabilia on display as well as giving a written insight of what it was really like to live during these times.A good day out that lasts about 2 hours if you stop to read and look at everything. There's a gift shop and caf also.Another thing worth taking note of is this building is in the top 10 most haunted places in Cheshire!Highly recommended.
Excellent historical site to visit which at the very least you would be looking at a couple of hours to walk around and take in all the information this bunker has to offer. Really enjoyed my time there and have lots of photos but I would rather just share a few so you can experience it for yourself. Tickets were booked online from a mate and if possible that's the best way to go. Other than that I think you can pay on arrival but I would give them a call just to make sure the day you want to visit is available. Highly recommended for a drive out there.
