The place is a joke if you want to make an appointment. Your told phone up 8 am next morning!.after 39 minutes eventually getting through your told sorry all appointments gone?! The reception staff have a serious attitude problem! For 50 years people have been able to make an appointment! But this surgery is a joke I think its going to take someone like me to take them to court for not providing the service thats due to us public! Go to another surgery this surgery will not put right something that is badly wrong! Might as well call it the Theresa May surgery they will not listen to anyone utterly pathetic! Thats what happens when you no longer have old school surgeries! And employ managers who think calling at 8am is the way! They are breaching our human rights and causing so much stress! How many people over the years have died or taken their own life because they cant get to see a doctor???! For the last 48 hours every GP has been off left no help for any patients no locom doctors nothing that is a breach of duty and very serious!
The only reason I give it 3 stars is because of the difficulty of getting through on the phone between 8.30am and 10am . Its virtually impossible although it could be argued that someone must be getting through as the time slots for the doctors are all occupied. I have a speed dial on my mobile that digitally keeps calling back automatically so i eventually get through but poor elderly people who have to keep redialling themselves must be very frustrated and may give up and potentially leave themselves in a dangerous position . Apart from this the surgery is great, the staff are very friendly and professional and 90% of the doctors are wonderful especially Dr Percival and Dr McLeod (if that is how you spell it).
I agree with the other reviewers that the enquiry phone line is useless. However, the actual health centre is well equipped and staff is really friendly. Beware: despite the times shown here it seems the health centre is closed Saturdays and Sundays. Do check before heading there on a weekend.
one hour your lucky I rang for half an hour then rang again for 20 min then with the phone still ringing walked to the practice with the phone still ringing in my hand went into the almost empty practice gave the phone to the person behind the counter.????
Been trying to contact them for over an hour. The enquiry line gives an automated message and then hangs up. Spent 20 minutes on the other line with it just ringing and ringing until I gave up! Waste of time
