Love this pub. Good beer friendly staff awesome
Was a good place but recently standards have slipped. May depend on day you visit? I booked a table for 7 and specified table I required (mindful of elderly relative with limited mobility. It was for a Monday lunchtime a few weeks back. The table was already occupied and the alternative offered was cramped and difficult to access. The food was indifferent and cold and the toilets were in need of a clean and refurb. We decided to try again yesterday lunchtime (a Wednesday) but it opened late so we went to the Wickstead Arms instead and were most impressed.
Depends on what you want. The food was good. Pleasant surroundings. To many dogs but a great place to visit if you have brought your dog for a day out.

We went here for some food, as a family of 6. We had two small dogs with us and that wasn't a problem at all. The dogs were given water on our arrival and they soon settled. The pub itself was bustling as there was a football game on the TV. Overall is was a nice atmosphere in there.The bar staff were great although the wait was a little long due to the amount of people in the pub. The food was nice but I wouldn't say spectacular.Would definitely visit again after a dog walk around Nantwich.
